Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Building resilient communities today for dignified retirement tomorrow.

NSSF’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a strategic investment in communities that aligns with our Corporate Strategic Plan 2023–2027 and our commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.

Our CSR focus areas are:

  • Education: Supporting learning infrastructure, digital skills and financial literacy, especially in underserved communities.

  • Health: Promoting preventive healthcare, mental wellness and community health outreach to strengthen long‑term well‑being.

  • Sports: Engaging youth through sports to nurture talent, foster cohesion and drive a savings and social security culture.

  • Entrepreneurship: Empowering informal sector and youth entrepreneurs through skills development, mentorship and financial literacy.

  • Social welfare: Supporting vulnerable groups, particularly older persons and retirees, to promote dignity in retirement.

  • National disasters: Contributing to relief, recovery and community resilience in the face of droughts, floods and other emergencies.

  • Environment and climate action: Driving tree‑planting, clean energy and conservation initiatives that support a greener, more sustainable future.

All CSR initiatives are implemented under strong governance, transparency and monitoring frameworks to ensure sustainable impact and value for our stakeholders.
